Dear Members,
Here at Coburg Districts Football Club we take Child Safety very seriously.
We are a Club that values our children and strives to keep them safe from all forms of violence, abuse and neglect.
We understand that Child Safety is the responsibility of all adults who spent time at this Club, including Parents, Senior Players, Volunteers, Coaches, Paid Employees, Umpires, Supporters and Members of the Committee.
In keeping with State Government requirements, we have appointed Angela Coutts to the position of Child Safety Officer.
Angela is a current senior women’s player and heads up our Child Safety Working Group, made up of Senior Players, Liv Woods, Jordan Ashby and club Vice President Graeme Scoberg
The aim of this group is to remove and reduce risks and to promote the participation and empowerment of all children within this club.
Child Safety is everyone’s business and everyone’s responsibility.
We ask you to do your bit to ensure that every child that walks into this club including registered players, their siblings, the children of Senior players, Junior Umpires and visitors are kept physically, psychologically and culturally safe at all times.
Together we can achieve this.
